Ihya Ramadan Programme with Puan Nazatul Azlin and Team OBSB at Masjid Al-Fateh, Forest Heights
Senawang, 8 April 2024 — on the Monday, Puan Nazatul Azlin and Team OBSB worked with Masjid Al-Fateh, Forest Heights, to run an Ihya Ramadan programme. It included contributions to individuals and families who qualified, as a way of keeping the spirit of Ramadan alive and helping those in need.
The Ihya Ramadan programme is intended to bring Ramadan to life through worship and charitable work. It is also a way of drawing the local community closer together and strengthening the sense of unity through this blessed month.
Masjid Al-Fateh, Forest Heights, played an important part in making the programme work. With close cooperation between the mosque and Team OBSB, a range of activities was carried out smoothly and to real purpose.
The Ihya Ramadan programme at Masjid Al-Fateh covered a number of activities:
— Religious talks: guidance and counsel delivered by invited speakers, to build knowledge and strengthen practice through Ramadan.
— Tadarus Al-Quran: encouraging the reading and understanding of the Quran together, keeping Ramadan as the month of the Quran.
— Tarawih in congregation: bringing the nights of Ramadan to life with tarawih prayers in congregation, and strengthening the bonds between members of the kariah.
As part of the programme, Puan Nazatul Azlin and Team OBSB presented contributions to those in need. These went to individuals and families who qualified, to ease the burden on them through Ramadan. Recipients included asnaf, single mothers and low-income families.
In her address, Puan Nazatul Azlin expressed her gratitude and thanks to everyone involved in making the programme work. She stressed how important it is to keep doing good and to help those in need, particularly in a month as blessed as this one. She also hopes programmes like this can continue in future, to everyone's benefit.
