Programme with TeamNogoriOhsem — Breakfast, Brisk Walk and Hiking in Nilai, 12 July 2025

On Saturday, 12 July 2025, OBSB ran a relaxed programme with TeamNogoriOhsem. It was joined by the OBSB CEO, Puan Hajah Nazatul Azlin, the OBSB staff and the JRM Holistik Negeri Sembilan distributors. The aim was to strengthen the ties between everyone and build a sense of team in an easier, more natural setting.

The original plan had been to climb Bukit Melati, Nilai, early enough to watch the sunrise together. Heavy rain that had not let up since dawn forced the organisers to postpone the climb on safety grounds, not least because most of the participants are older.

Instead, everyone moved on to D'Pangkin Kitchen & Garden for breakfast together. The cafe was quiet, surrounded by greenery and rows of fresh flowers for sale — a natural kind of therapy, and a very calming one. A range of traditional and modern dishes was served, from proper meals to kuih worth making room for.

After breakfast, once the rain began to ease, the programme continued with a brisk walk and light stretching at Taman Awam Nilai. The cool morning air and the laughter of the participants made for a warm and easy atmosphere. Passing the playground, the mood lifted further as people spontaneously took to the slides and swings — the kind of moment that stays with you.

By midday the appetite for the climb returned. Some participants decided to go up Bukit Melati after all, late as it was. Those who made the summit were Nadia, Iman, Aisyah, Fiza, Muhaini and Baizura, while the rest cheered them on from below as a support system that stayed positive and good-humoured throughout.

The programme finished around midday in a mood of gratitude and satisfaction. The original plan may have changed, but the togetherness, the sincerity and the team spirit on show made it a day worth remembering.
