The Joy of Traditional Dodol-Making with TeamNogoriOhsem Agents

Traditional heritage becomes even more meaningful when people come together to celebrate it. On 12 March 2026, agents from TeamNogoriOhsem, part of the Jamu Ratu Malaya (JRM) community in Negeri Sembilan, gathered for a traditional dodol-making activity filled with teamwork, shared experiences and a warm community spirit.

More than an opportunity to experience the preparation of a traditional delicacy, the gathering provided a chance for team members to strengthen their relationships and create meaningful memories together.

Keeping the Tradition of Dodol-Making Alive

Traditional dodol-making requires patience, effort and cooperation. Throughout the activity, participants took turns stirring the mixture and helping with the preparation process as part of the communal effort.

Although making dodol takes time and physical effort, working together made the activity more enjoyable. Each participant had the opportunity to contribute and experience a traditional practice alongside fellow team members.

The evening was made more festive by the glow of traditional oil lamps and the sparkle of fireworks. The agents, dressed in traditional attire, added to the occasion's warm and festive atmosphere, creating memorable moments together.

Building Teamwork and Stronger Connections

The dodol-making activity reflected values that are important in building a positive and supportive business community. By participating in a shared activity, team members had an opportunity to strengthen relationships and appreciate the importance of working together.

• Patience and Perseverance: The time and effort required to prepare dodol reflect the value of patience and consistent effort when working towards a goal.
• Community Spirit: Sharing tasks and helping one another encouraged cooperation throughout the activity.
• Stronger Relationships: The relaxed setting gave agents the opportunity to connect, exchange stories and get to know one another better.
• Preserving Traditional Heritage: Taking part in traditional dodol-making helps keep cultural practices and shared experiences alive within the community.
