On Saturday, 21 June 2025, OBSB ran a forum that was both instructive and sobering: the Family Forensics Forum, "When Love Turns to Poison", held at a place made for quieting the mind — Rumah Hutan Terapi Alam.

A group of 40 participants from across Negeri Sembilan set off at 6.30am from Masjid Al-Fateh, Forest Heights, after Subuh prayers in congregation and registration. The programme was supported by OBSB staff — Puan Nazatul Azalina, Cik Nadia, Cik Muhammad Iman and Cik Syazwani — together with the OBSB CEO, Yang Berbahagia Puan Hajah Nazatul Azlin.

The forum took up an issue close to home for many people: conflict and the dynamics within a marriage. The panel invited were experienced and well respected in their own fields:

Bonda Rozita Ibrahim, founder of JRM & Holistik Maryami Sufi; Ustaz Muhamad Abdullah Al-Amin, Syariah law practitioner; and Pn. Faizah Mohamed Othman, registered and licensed counsellor, Master of Science in Guidance & Counselling (UPM).

Each panellist addressed a critical part of rebuilding the family as an institution — from the emotional wounds left by a love turned toxic, to the role of Syariah law in dealing with conflict, to resolution through spiritual approaches and counselling. What was shared was not merely academic; it touched a nerve and opened real room for reflection.

As the forum closed, participants queued for photographs with Bonda Rozita Ibrahim — a moment that meant a great deal to those who follow JRM and her work in raising the standing of holistic health.

The forum was followed by free time. Some headed straight for the JRM Holistik Premium Outlet at Rumah Hutan to take up the special promotions running that day. Others relaxed over food at the Rumah Hutan cafe and took in the fresh air.

The group set off home at around 2.30pm and arrived back in Negeri Sembilan at about 5.30pm.
